Must shorter post today. I spent most of the day in labs figuring out solutions with Apple Developers. The most popular areas were Auto Layout and UIKit Labs. The key was to arrive early, else you were stuck behind a long line of developers eager to find solutions to their problems. One thing I found interesting at the labs was how each Apple developer was very strong in a specific area of the platform. You were given the chance to interact with a lot of different developers. If one person couldn’t answer your question you were referred someone else. This pattern would repeat until your question was answered. It was nice to understand some of the Apple-way of doing things and the path their engineers took to figure out a solution. Overall, it was a great experience that was wrapped up by a mini-concert in the afternoon.
